HOW ANIMALS GET EXTINCT

One of the many ways that species get extinct, is because of pochers. Pochers are people who hunt animals like cheetahs for their fur, or like elephants for their tusks that are made out of ivory. They do not care at all if the animals are extinct, gone for ever and will never will be able to be on earth ever again. It is also ilegal. Another reason wy animals are becoming extinct is that there has been alot of habitat loss. That is one of the big reasons why animals become extinct. People have been developing land that should not be developed. It should be left for the animals, and for them to live in peace. In some cases there has been over hunting. Like the wooly mammoth, sabortooth cat, dodo, and the moas and others. Hunters some times over hunt, sometimes just because they are trying to survive. Also animals can get extinct by climate change. Things like ice ages, and over heating can also mess with the animals. Back when there was ice ages alot of animals became extinct.

HOW YOU CAN HELP

There are a lot of ways that you can help. Like don't ever become a pocher, or if you see one tell somebody that can help. Don't buy real fur coats or real fur anything. Because that is when pochers get paid, and that means that an animal got killed. Don't be chopping down all the trees, or be building cities where there used to be a forest or even just beautiful hills. did you know people have been getting the oil from the rain forest and have been pollutng the water so fish and animals that drink the water get sick and die? Even tribes of people get sick from drinking the water. Hunters, try not to over hunt or pretty soon there will be no animals for you to hunt. Don't buy ivory, we know it is pretty but each time you do that means that an elephant got killed. There is alot of other small ways you can think of to save the animals from extinction. They will really apprecate it and so will we.
